REVIEW

"A fun, sexy contemporary."

Brilliant scientist and researcher MacKenzie Lloyd has decided that in order to prevent the possibility of a future marriage getting stale, and a husband straying outside the marriage for sex, she will approach the problem the way she does her work. She will research it, study it, and then test her theories of men's sexual fantasies out before she starts looking for a husband. Now all she needs is a test subject. When her good friend Sophie suggests her high-powered executive brother Lucas Wainwright for the job, Mac decides to give it a try, and ask him to participate in her research. Sophie is supposed to join her brother for an island vacation, so she sends Mac instead.

Lucas is upset that Sophie didn't join him on the island. He hasn't told her, but he has reason to be concerned for her safety. Mac assures him that Sophie is fine, and when she tells him why she is there, he can't believe his luck. He has been attracted to Mac since he first met her, and now she wants him to participate in sexual role-play, no strings attached? That in itself is every man's fantasy!

INTENT TO SEDUCE was a lot of fun to read. Mac was very inventive in her little sex games, Lucas did not adjust well to letting Mac take the lead, and the resulting power struggles were highly entertaining. The sex was titillating, but not overly graphic. There was also an interesting sub plot with lots of twists and turns that involved Sophie; Tracker, the man Lucas hired to protect her; mistaken identities and kidnapping. I definitely see a romance in the future for Sophie and Tracker. I can't wait to read more by Cara Summers!
