"This one is hot and sexy!"
What is it about sexy bad boy Creoles from New
Orleans that turn your knees to jelly? Auri "Creole"
Levalois is one such man and he's a cop to boot. He's been
trailing Muse Summerville in hopes that she would lead him
to her small time hood boyfriend Gary Fox and that Gary
would lead him to big time drug dealing slime Jim Davies.
The one problem with this scenario is that he's not been
spying on Muse but her identical twin sister Grace, a high
school counselor who is visiting from South Carolina. Muse
has been missing for a week now and Grace wants to know
just what has happened to her sister! The minute she meets Creole, Grace knows she's in
serious trouble! She's had too many love 'em and leave 'em
boyfriends already. Creole is just the kind of guy she
seriously needs to stay away from but he may just be the
one who will help her find out what happened to her
sister. What Grace doesn't know is that Creole has his own
agenda and if it means buttering her up, then so be it.
Creole was a foster child and doesn't want any kind of
serious long-term attachments. The minute he
finds out that Grace isn't her sister, Muse, he knows that
she's just
the kind of woman who believes in happily ever after. He's
just not the kind of guy she needs! This is one hot sexy book. I especially loved the
way Creole reverted to speaking French to Grace. I thought
the way Grace could read Creole's emotions and could tell
exactly what he needed from her was so endearing and
sensual. I also thought there was a perfect ending to this
one sitting read. I'm a huge fan of Nina Bruhns' books and
hope to have many more years of pleasurable reading from
this talented author.

Muse Summerville's file says the sultry blonde is hot as
the Louisiana summer and has a penchant for men--the more
dangerous the better. But to Detective Creole Levalois's
cop instincts, something about her doesn't quite add up.....
SummaryHe wanted revenge
Auri 'Creole' Levalois was looking for a killer. What
he found was a woman who turned his lonely world upside
down-and touched him as no other woman ever had. Determined
to put his foster-brother's murderer behind bars, Creole
has set up surveillance on witness Muse Summerville. Her
file says the sultry blonde is hot as the Louisiana summer
and has a penchant for men-the more dangerous the better.
But to Creole's cop instincts, something about her didn't
quite add up.
And she wanted nothing to do with him!
Grace Summerville's identical twin sister has vanished
without a trace. Grace has rushed to New Orleans' notorious
French Quarter to search for her. Grace is really worried.
Especially when she discovers a dark, mysterious Cajun man
watching her from the neighboring balcony-watching her with
the feral interest of a predator. Is he somehow involved in
her twin's disappearance? Or is he after something much
more dangerous to a good girl like her?
