"Best one yet"

I loved Sofie Metropolis from the beginning, but after reading WORKING STIFF, I think only one Sofie Metro book a year is not enough.

In WORKING STIFF, Sofie is asked by her aunt to help her find a body that turned up missing just before the funeral. Sofie reluctantly agrees but can't think of what anyone would want with a corpse. While working on the missing body case, Sofie gets a really hot case: she has to prove that Johnny Laughton, scheduled to go on trial for the murder of his girlfriend, is really innocent. Is Johnny guilty or did his girlfriend fall into the hands of something even more sinister? Not only are things hot at the office, but in Sofie's personal life as well with not one hot guy but two guys hunky Dino the nice Greek boy that would make her family happy and the mysterious Jake Porter, who enters her life as quickly as he leaves it.

I honestly could not put this book down. WORKING STIFF is funny, and page grippingly awesome. The cast of secondary characters especially Rosie and Sofie's cousin Pete and of course there is Pino are fun characters that make you want to learn more about them. Could Pino be another guy interested in Sofie as well?

Summary
