REVIEW

"An excellent book!"

Rebecca Ainsworth can't believe it when her husband's staff calls her to come back quickly. It seems her husband, Andreas Petrakos, has had a car accident and has no memory of the previous year. He believes that Becca is his mistress and can't figure out why she isn't with him.

The doctor tells Becca that Andreas will get his memory back but he just doesn't know when and in the meantime Becca must play along. Can she do this? The last she saw of Andreas was on their wedding day when he threw her out of the house because he found out she gave the money for her wedding dress to a man and won't tell him why.

Andreas only remembers that he met Rebecca on a trip to England and couldn't get her out of his mind so he pursued her relentlessly until she succumbed. The doctor can't give Becca a time frame as to when Andreas' memory will come back or what he will do when it does. Becca only knows that she has to help him no matter what the consequences.

I have never read a book by Kate Walker before but if this is an indication of her superb writing, I will have to find more of her books to read. I truly love reading about strong heroes and the women they decide to get involved with. I also enjoy books about other cultures and nationalities. I highly recommend this one.
