"Those delicious Mounties are back!"

Dr. Elizabeth Langley wanted to spend the summer with her grandfather in the Klondike. It was there that she would finally be able to practice medicine. However, she could not make this journey alone. The Yukon had be bombarded with thousands of people due to the recent discovery of gold. Because of this, resources were few and what was available went for exorbant prices. Criminals infested the route on the trail and were targeting incoming supplies.The only way she would be allowed to travel would be under the protection of Sergeant Colton Hunter. Elizabeth's father knew that he would see her safely there. Colt was not happy about this turn of events and it put a glich in his plans. He and his fellow Mounted Police were on assignment to catch a crime ring that was targeting incoming supplies on the trail. But, he had no choice when it came to Elizabeth's influential father.

Diguised as a modest family of ranchers, Colt,Elizabeth and four other Mounties began their journey. The pair had quite a time getting along with their strong willed personalities. But, after facing hardships and danger a fragile trust was building. Each found that the depth to their feelings was much stronger than they realized.However, they had large obstacles to overcome. The most prominant being that Elizabeth was still engaged to another man. It takes time but, both realize that they can and will risk everything for love.

KLONDIKE DOCTOR is the beginning of a new series featuring those beloved Mounties. The pages are filled with action, adventure and a consuming love. Her secondary characters are fun and add so much charm to the story. As a long time fan, I can attest that when Kate Bridges pen hits the page she creates magic.

Summary
