Bailey Howard was traveling to the Navajo Indian reservation to visit her ill grandmother.During her ride she reflects on the changes her life has taken. She is no longer acts the spoiled rich girl who only thinks of herself. She has over come obstacles that have changed her into a person who cares about others.

She offers to hold a fussy baby for a passenger when all of the sudden the bus crashes. When she comes to, she soon finds that she and the baby have been kidnapped. She has no idea what is going on but vows to keep this child safe.

Hunter Long is a special investigator with the Navajo Tribal police. He learns of the crash and kidnapping and responds. He is shocked to find the woman is none other than Bailey. He and Bailey were once young lovers.

Hunter believes the kidnapping and crash were caused by the evil and much feared Skinwalkers. A group of shapeshifters that have the power to destroy. Hunter is part of a secret society known as The Brotherhood. They protect and defend all who are in danger of the Skinwalkers.

The two have a very difficult battle to face. Evil and danger lurk around every corner and they must save themselves and each other to finally find the love and inner peace they deserve.

Linda Conrad always comes across with a fresh voice and an exciting new read. SHADOW HUNTER is a superb mix of suspense,paranormal and Indian romance. Part of the Night Guardian series but, it can stand alone quite well. Once you get a taste you will be running for Ms. Conrad's backlist.

Summary
