REVIEW

"The Sword of a Kidnapper!"

"'You cannot keep up this pace. I can ride pillion behind you.' Marianne turned in the saddle and saw four men racing toward them on foot. All of them were from the group who had kidnapped her at Faucon. And all of them held their swords before them, ready to do battle."

Marianne is an intriguing and irritating character - outspoken and very, very aware of her tumultuous, erotic feelings that have no focus until she is both rescued from kidnappers and yet held hostage in revenge.

For Bryce of Ashforde, Marianne may hold the key to discovering who destroyed his ancestral home and left a sword connected to Marianne's family in the ashes.

So begins a journey in which Marianne and Bryce fall in love yet hold back one part of themselves that may not be totally given until the mystery of destruction and pain is solved. How will they cope with the reality they both fear is true? Is there more than meets the seeming plot of this romantic story-tale plot? What about the rumors of pride and arrogance known to exist in both families?

In this last novel of the Falcon series, Denise Lynn has again managed to captivate this reader with an imaginative romance laced with credible historical reality that envelopes one into another luscious, provocative world! Each story stands totally on its own and concludes herein in a noteworthy, charming manner!

Next series, please, Denise Lynn!
