REVIEW

"This GhostWalker story really rocked!"

Ken and Jack Norton have always been very close since their father murdered their mother and nearly killed them as well. They have always had a mental telepathy going on. This is enhanced when they volunteer for the GhostWalker program.

Then Jack gets together with Briony. Ken knows there is no one for him. Besides since he was tortured in the jungle by sadistic rebel forces he's just too hideous to look at. All of this changes when he meets Briony's twin sister Marigold. Briony just recently broke through her memory barrier and remembered she had a twin. Now all she wants to do is get her back. She makes Ken and Jack promise to find her.

What Ken can't understand is that it looks like Dr. Peter Whitney is not dead. He has another GhostWalker team that he is training but he has apparently gone over the edge in more ways than one. How can he get close enough to grab Mari and will she even come with him? Will he have to kidnap her?

Mari only knows Dr. Whitney and the compound. He always told her though that he would leave Briony to have a normal life if Mari cooperates. What Mari doesn't know is that Whitney has lied all of these years. Now who is she to believe? Why does Ken know so much about her? She only knows she has her 'sisters' in the compound to depend on. How can she depend on anybody else?

Wow! These stories just get more and more intriguing. I was enthralled through each and every story. I cannot wait to see what Christine Feehan has in mind for these extraordinary men and women next! I read Ken and Jack's stories back to back and they only made me hungry for more!

Summary

It began as a mission to find a notorious politician whose plane went down in the Congo. But the risky operation took an unexpected turn when Mari, a physically enhanced member of the rescue team, was taken hostage by rebel forces. Now, imprisoned in an isolated compound, Mari has only one chance for survival—escape. What she doesn't count on is Ken Norton, expert assassin and himself a Ghostwalker warrior, fighting to get behind the prison walls on a mission of his own—one that reaches into Mari's own past and the mysterious fate of her twin sister...and that will bind Ken and Mari in an intoxicating passion that raises the stakes on the deadliest game of survival they've ever played.
