"Great vampire romance"
Sensuality--NC17 Descriptive sex As a vampire who is one-fourth human, Gillian is rather
unpredictable. When her time to mate arrives four years
early, her mentor, Lord Volnar, chooses a mate for her,
It's unfortunate that she despises his choice and demands
her right to choose her own. As it happens, the choice is taken from her when she
finds herself taking refuge with Paul, who is her partner
in a series of children's books. He is an ephemeral, and
ephemera she has been raised to think of only as a food
source or, at most, a pet.
She has recently found herself having dreams about him
that include feeding and petting, but not quite in the way
she used to think of them concerning him. The main problem
now is, will Paul have what it takes to
satisfy a vampire woman
in heat? And when he finds out the true reasons behind
her feelings for him, will he ever be able to trust her
again? After all, what does love have to do with anything
in a relationship like this. NIGHT FLIGHT is a superb story in which the 'vampires'
are actually another species with many vampire-type
characteristics. The heroine is young (for a vampire), but
wise and the hero's actions are quite believable. The few
secondary characters are
well portrayed without over-shadowing the main two. A fast
read, highly enjoyable.
