Joy Polanski works for her family business as an embalmer at their funeral home. It seems like a natural business for Joy and her family considering that they are vampires. When she meets detective Larkin strange things start to happen, like he can hear everything she is thinking.

When it turns out that a client that Joy worked on was murdered instead of committing suicide and the killer just may be a vampire, Larkin is determined to find out who or what killed Alan but he is equally determined to keep getting as close as possible to Joy.

THE POLANSKI BROTHERS: HOME OF ETERNAL REST by Dakota Cassidy is hysterically funny and erotic. Ms Cassidy has outdone herself with a family of vampires who have certain afflictions. In Joy's case she can't smell so sniffing out her lifemate is out of the question but there are other ways to find a lifemate.
