"three heated historical romances"

"American Beauty" by Susan Johnson. In 1889 Epsom, England, American Evelyn Sweet knows her horses while Marquis Nicholas DeLacey has the reputation for the best stable in England. With the Derby coming up shortly, they agree that their thoroughbreds belong together while each plans to make love with the other.

"Dr. Yes" by Katherine O'Neal. In 1912, following three annulled marriages due to certain marital problems, rich San Franciscan Sierra Winston travels to Buenos Aires seeking to become sexually liberated. British expatriate sexual therapist Dr. Alistair Lange plans to be her liberator but also sees her as a sexy distraction who can seize a damning political document he desires to possess almost as much as he wants to possess her.

"The Seduction of Mrs. Rutledge" by Diane Whiteside. In 1863, his father warns Colonel Brett Rutledge that if he fails to take a bride soon he will have him removed from the military. Knowing he can do this, Brett visits his childhood friend Venetia Davidson to ask her to be his wife. Though twelve years have passed since they saw each other in Maryland, Venetia accepts as she worries about her future. However, she vows to never fall in love as that only leads to pain, but Brett has mounted an assault on the heart of the woman he loves.

These three heated historical romances star wonderful protagonists who grip the audience in each case. Readers will appreciate these naughty yet nice novellas.

Summary

American Beauty by Susan Johnson
American heiress Evelyn Sweet is renowned for three things: her stunning looks, her formidable temper, and her ability to judge a horse. Nicholas DeLacey, The Marquis of Vigne, has the best stable in England, not to mention the most scandalous reputation on seven continents. Nicholas knows their thoroughbreds are well matched, and he has a feeling he and Eve might be as well. For word has it that the hot-tempered beauty isn't averse to indulging her sensual desires, and before the race season is out, the Marquis means to satisfy every one of them...

Dr. Yes by Katherine O'Neal
The year is 1912 when Sierra Winston makes a fateful journey to Buenos Aires, a city teeming with sophistication, elegance, and sexual liberation. It's that very liberation the troubled heiress is hoping she'll find with the help of radical, British-born sexual therapist Dr. Alistair Lange. But when the handsome doctor decides she has just the attributes to intercept a valuable political document, Sierra is thrown into a labyrinth of danger, intrigue, and smoldering passion in which she must trust a seductive rogue who just happens to be a skilled practitioner of the art and science of desire...

The Seduction of Mrs. Rutledge by Diane Whiteside
As children, wealthy Massachusetts scion Brett Rutledge and Venetia Davidson made a pledge to support each other through thick and thin. Now, Colonel Brett Rutledge has come to collect: If he does not take a bride, his father will see him removed from the army duty he prizes. Desperately needing security, Venetia accepts, though she has sworn never to fall in love lest she be destroyed like her mother. Now, Brett is determined to conquer Venetia's true affections using every carnal strategy at his disposal. For this is war of a sort, and victory lies in total surrender...

Some things take time...and lots of practice...
