REVIEW

"The long awaited sequel to PENCIL HIM IN!"

This story is about Marie Simmons, the sister to Anna Simmons from PENCIL HIM IN. I have been waiting for months for Marie's story and boy was I ever pleased with the way Molly O'Keefe wrote it!

Marie absolutely hated the way she grew up. As a matter of fact she bought silver bangles for her wrists every time she had a bad experience and wore them all the time just to remind her that she would never be put into that situation again! She finally has bought a nice spot for her bakery and bistro. She wanted the building across the street but because of a bidding war, she lost. She lost the bid to Van MacAllister who opened up a restaurant that played jazz all hours of the night. This was very bad for Marie since she lived over her shop to save money.

Marie hosts a cute cooking show but the powers that be decide that she needs a co-host. She simply cannot believe who it is when she finally meets him...none other than Van MacAllister. How can she work for that creep? He's so egotistical and good looking and exactly the type of man Marie refuses to get involved with. She has no way of knowing how persuasive Van is. Before she

knows it, Marie is in way over her head. How did this happen?

I know the Flipside line is going to be disbanded very soon but I'm hoping that Molly O'Keefe finds another niche for her deliciously funny and delightfully scintillating stories! I thoroughly enjoy each and every one!!

Summary

Slaving over a hot stove had taught Marie Simmons a thing or two—like not letting another cook steal her thunder! If it took her last chocolate chip (okay, second to last—a girl can't give away all the chocolate!) she had to find some way to foil Van MacAllister—a gourmet's flavor du jour—her new co-host on a cooking show. With some careful planning the only sizzle the audience would see would be from the steak, not the hunk.

Of course, she feels a soupçon of guilt at first because he really is a talented chef. And by the time they get to the appetizers it finally dawns on her that the, um, "to-die-for dish" on their show just might be the man himself!
