REVIEW

"Soft, sweet and deliciously innocent."

Faith has no idea who she really is. She was found by Dr. Carson and his wife on the side of the road. She'd been assaulted and her memory gone. Out of the goodness of their hearts, they took her in and got her a volunteer job rocking babies in the hospital's nursery. Everything is fine until one little girl mistakes her for her mother.

Megan knows Faith is not her mommy. But, she does look a lot like her, and Megan appreciates the attention. A DNA test proves Faith is not Megan's biological mother. Though disappointed she didn't find a link to her past, she takes to Megan immediately. Megan's father is another story. Adam is strong and overpowering, and he makes Faith feel things she doesn't think she ever thought before. But, she can't be sure, so she tries to avoid Adam. The one thing she's sure of is that Megan's mother is dead.

Adam's very pregnant sister-in-law, Lori, convinces Adam to hire Faith as Megan's nanny. At first, Adam is reluctant. Then, he realizes she's perfect for the job.

Over time, Adam comes to terms with the fact that he's fallen in love with a woman with no past. But, Faith refuses to get involved with Adam because she's not sure if she has a husband and children waiting for her somewhere.

Eventually, Faith figures out who she is and where she belongs but it doesn't include Adam and Megan. Can she really go back to her previous life? Does Adam really love her? And can she see herself as Megan's mom and Adam's wife?

This story is a sweet romance based on a heroine with strong family values. Though she doesn't know who she is, she is extremely kind and caring: something Adam doesn't miss. She's different than the women he usually dates, but he doesn't think of Faith in terms of dating. He's thinking more along the lines of happily-ever-after. I loved how the writer created such a simple and plain heroine who could be sexy by just putting on one of Adam's shirts for pajamas. You can't help but fall in love with this heroine because she is so good with people and children in particular. Adam is a tough hero because he fights the attraction to Faith every step of the way. But, when it comes down to what really matters, Adam knows what's really important. Is Faith beautiful? Oh, yes! Faith everything he's ever dreamed of? You bet. But, how can these two people come together when Faith has no idea of her past and who she really belongs to? This story is a soft, sensual read that would go good with a bubble bath, some candles and a glass of wine. And I guarantee you, it has an interesting ending.

Summary

Who is Faith?

That's what Adam Novak wants to know. She looks just like his ex-lover, now missing and presumed dead - whose disappearance turned him from carefree bachelor into instant father to their six-year-old daughter, Megan.

That's also what Faith wants to know. Left by the side of the road, the victim of an assult, she has no memory and no identity.

Whether or not she is Megan's mom, Faith has won the hearts of the little girl and her father. But could there be another family out there waiting for her? And when her memory returns, will she have to leave Adam and Megan behind?
