REVIEW

"The Alpha and The Omega"

Jared must find a mate soon. His time to become Alpha of the pack is fast approaching, the woman who had been chosen as his mate Elise has run off with an Omega. Jared sets his sites on the sister of the man Elise ran off with Alrya.

Alrya has been in love for four years with Jared and thinks that if she can have one night with him she would be happy. Alrya is sure that Jared will change his mind about making her his mate before the wedding ceremony takes place.

Things don't go as planned and Jared must fight for his position as Alpha and also do what he can for the woman who has unexpectedly captured his heart to stay with him forever.

I really loved this installment of EVERGREEN ISLAND WEREWOLVES. I haven't read very many werewolf stories and this one really captured my attention and made me want to read more. It is a very touching and heartwarming story that will make you only wish that the story was longer.

Summary

Politically expedient... Jared has to find a mate, and fast. Pack Law says the new Alpha must be mated, but his fiancee's just eloped -- with an Omega. Alyra could be the perfect solution -- she helped the betrayers escape. Alyra owes him. A temporary contract with her will satisfy the political demands of the pack. There's just one problem. Alyra won't go along with his plans. She refuses to be claimed just because she's expedient. If Jared wants to keep her, he's going to have to put a better offer on the table -- but is he willing to offer his heart?
