on September 7, is Meg Chittenden's 37th book.
Diana "Flash" Gordon, one time PI, now a professional
photographer has come north to Port Findlay Washington to
get away from the "life of crime" she's been leading. She
wants peace and quiet and calm-living. But it's not going
to happen. First of all, while co-chairing a photography
show with Connor Callahan, she comes upon the dead body of
one of Port Findlay's chief do-gooders, who turns out not
to be so good after all. Then she gets drawn into helping
to find the murderer, which brings her up against some
pretty tough customers. And at the same time she's trying
to keep a rein on her escalating feelings for that same
Connor Callahan--the one who is still having conversations
with his dead wife.

still mourning the death of his young wife. Connor and
Diana meet when handling the local photography exhibit.
When they arrive to open up the show for the judges, they

Arts Alliance----she's been shot.
While Diana and Connor begin investigating the murder of
Rosemary, Diana can't help but wonder if this shooting is
related to the one she suffered in San Francisco.
