"Exhilarating police procedural romance"
Kansas City, Missouri police officer Cassandra Newton is
pleased that her current job of arresting law breakers is
a lot easier than her previous employment as a secret
agent of the Special Personnel Against Criminal Element
(SPACE). So when she receives a long stem white rose tied
by a ribbon to a cell phone, she tosses the "gift" into
the trash because that means SPACE wants her to call. Cassandra's former partner and ex-lover Kane McNabb breaks
into her home telling her that SPACE needs her help though
she left five years ago. He explains that wealthy anti-
drug crusader Adam Mercer, founder of Men Against Drugs,
has gone crazy since his daughter died from an overdose.
Adam plans to sell tainted deadly "Blue Snow" marijuana to
kill many users and sellers. The only hope is to
infiltrate the mad but brilliant Adam is a long legged
blonde, his sole weakness; hence the recruiting of
Cassandra to go undercover. GET BLONDIE is an exhilarating police procedural romance
starring two fabulous law enforcement officials who hook
the readers with their undercover battles. The story line
is fast-paced, however the villain seems more like a
feeble mourner instead of a potential mass murderer.
Still the "romantic triangle" makes for an action packed
thriller with a heroine who knows how to get her man. Harriet Klausner

SummaryHow many blondes does it take to bring the bad guys to
justice? Only one, if you're talking about gutsy Cassandra
Newton. She'd put worse criminals behind bars than the
street thugs she now dealt with as a Kansas City cop. But
her life as a secret agent was behind her — until Kane
McNabb showed up. The agency needed her to take down a
suspected drug lord with a weakness for leggy blondes. It
was no mistake they'd sent her former partner and lover to
persuade her. After all, she owed him. But after this, she
and Kane were even — because no one gets Blondie for
free....
