REVIEW

"...and a Happy New Year"

MERRY CHRISTMAS BABY, is a six in one anthology by Brava that has a little something for everyone.

In Donna Kauffman's MAKING WAVES, Burke Morgan is stunned when his long time friend takes a job in Australia, just when he is getting ready to start his own charter business. He agrees to take on his friend's granddaughter for a trial run. What he gets is someone who gets under his skin and who he wants to get in his bed. Kamala is anxious to work on the charter business. The money she will make will be enough to start her own catering business. There is one slight problem though, she neglected to mention she gets seasick, but Burke's cure for it may just be the ticket she needs to get over it.

MAKING WAVES is the latest in Donna Kauffman's Morgan family series. It was fun to read about Christmas being celebrated without the snow, ice and cold and instead in a beautiful tropical setting.

Let It Snow by Nancy Warren, is what Marisa and Rob start to hope for when they are stuck on the roof of their tv station. While there they are forced to come to terms with their feelings for one another. Rob has been attracted to Marisa for the last few months, but he has done everything he can think of to fight it. When he realizes she is as attracted to him as he is to her, will this be a one time thing or will they have something that will last forever? Rob and Marisa are total opposites, she is an eternal opposite while he is anything but.

LET IT SNOW shows that sometimes opposites do attract.

YOU, ACTUALLY by Lucy Monroe has two best friends realising that they can be so much more then friends. Josh is a cartoonist who has decided to reveal his true feelings for Cassidy on Christmas Eve. He has loved her ever since he met her, and he wants her to know it. He has high hopes when he notices that Cassidy just may want the same thing.

YOU, ACTUALLY was really sweet and romantic with two longtime friends realising they were meant to be together.

UNDERCOVER CLAUS by Mary Janice Davidson was definitely the funniest one out of the six. Corinne Bullwinkle is working undercover as a Salvation army bellringer, dressed as Santa. She is on the lookout for a purse snatcher who is determined to ruin everyone's holiday.

Things get really interesting when she meets Grant, a guy who is in town from the UK in charge with an unpleasant job, laying off people at Christmastime.

In Lucy Monroe's Silver Bella, Bella Jackson is a top runway model, while working a show in Houston, she sees Jake Barton. Jake is there with his sister and can't help but be atrracted to Bella.

He gets Bella to agree to stay with him for two weeks after the show ends, but will Jake be able to let Bella go after the two weeks are over?

Silver Bella is heartwarming and steamy as only Lucy Monroe can write them.

SNOW DAY by Susanna Carr is what Tyler and Karen get when they are snowbound together after a blizzard. Karen has long been considered the town outsider while Tyler couldnt get out of it fast enough.

Will Tyler and Karen overcome their mistaken ideas about each other and realize they belong together? SNOW DAY will tug at your heartstrings as you feel for Karen as she deals with a reputation that others won't let her forget.

MERRY CHRISTMAS BABY, will certainly get you in the holiday spirit. Each novella is sexy, romantic and will make you feel good after you read the last page.
