(Notify me via e-mail when Mia King releases a new book.) My name is Darien Hsu Gee and I write fiction under the pen name of Mia King. I write about women who make BIG changes in their life (wittingly or unwittingly) that more authentically reflect who they are, the relationships they want to have, and the work they want to do, and it's a wild if not crazy ride getting there! My husband has a nonfiction golf book being released spring 2007 by Stewart, Tabori & Chang. Ours is the classic Dream Job story: In 2000, we left our corporate jobs, moved to Hawaii from the Bay Area, had two children, and opened a boutique golf academy that focuses exclusively on the inner and mental game of golf. We massively simplified our lives and haven't looked back since (okay, not totally true - on a bad day, we look back a lot, and play the "what if" game, but that passes and then we're happy again). |
