Allie Mackay is the alter ego of USA Today bestselling author, Sue-Ellen Welfonder, who writes Scottish medieval romances. A former flight attendant of Scottish descent, she spent many years living in Europe and still makes annual visits to Scotland. Keenly interested in the paranormal, she enjoys exploring haunted places. Especially in Great Britain. Her other main interests are Scotland, medieval history, and dogs.
