(Notify me via e-mail when Elizabeth Foxwell releases a new book.)

Born and raised in central New Jersey, Elizabeth Foxwell studied for a semester in London and holds a bachelor's of science degree in journalism from the University of Maryland-College Park and a master's degree in liberal studies with distinction from Georgetown University. Since meeting Barbara Mertz (aka Elizabeth Peters/Barbara Michaels) in 1984 and subsequently dragooned into service with Malice Domestic Ltd., Foxwell's life has never been the same. In addition to her mystery work, she has worked in various editorial capacities for Georgetown University, the Society for American Archaeology, and the American Bar Association, and now works as a managing editor for three scholarly journals at Heldref Publications.

Foxwell's research interests include early female mystery writers and women's service in wartime---- especially medical service. She wrote her master's thesis on feminist and pacifist Vera Brittain, author of the World War I autobiography Testament of Youth, and authored a chapter on Testament of Youth in the book Women's Life-writing: Finding Voice, Building Community (Popular Press).
