Kresley Cole

Previously a competitive athlete and professional coach, Kresley now concentrates on writing romance for Pocket Books.

Since her first novel was published in 2003, Cole has sold a total of seven books and one novella in two different subgenres. Her first book, THE CAPTAIN OF ALL PLEASURES (Pocket Books, July 2003) was a 2003 Romantic Times Magazine Reviewers' Choice Award Winner and her second, THE PRICE OF PLEASURE (Pocket, July 2004), was an RT Top Pick. Cole will be following her highly acclaimed "Pleasure" historicals with a Highlander trilogy, as well as a new paranormal romance series, both with Pocket Books.

IF YOU DARE, the first book in the MacCarrick Brothers Trilogy, was released in May 2005, with IF YOU DESIRE and IF YOU DECEIVE to follow in 2006. The paranormal romances will be released between the historicals with the first, A HUNGER LIKE NO OTHER, to come in April 2006 and the second, NO REST FOR THE WICKED in October 2006.

Kresley now writes full time and is a mom to two marvelous labs and one feckless cat.
