D.P. McHenry was born and raised in New England and has an intimate knowledge of the places about which she writes. The setting of Part One of 'Knights in Shining Armor Sometimes Play Guitars' was indeed once her home. The novel is part biographical and part fiction, but true to her words parts of her novel began to unfold in her own life. She is now happily married to her own Knight in Shining Armor, whom she met on the internet. And yes, he does play guitar. She currently lives in Rhode Island with her husband and cats, Spike and Cleo. |
