Lanette Curington was born and raised in west Tennessee. She resides there with her husband, two daughters, seven cats, and a dog. Starkissed was an Eppie 2001 finalist and PEARL nominee. She is also the author of "At the Stroke of Midnight" and—writing as Lani Aames—Desperate Hearts and "Jingle's Belle". She is presently working on her next novel Immortal Conquest, a mythological romance.
