 Just three years ago, Laura Wright left the world of acting and competitive ballroom dancing for her true love - writing romance - and she's never looked back! The co-author of thirteen children's books, Laura is thrilled to offer her unique, fun style, her love of food and her own brand of emotional intensity to her favorite Silhouette line, Desire. Laura's first novel for Desire, Cinderella and the Playboy, is out this month, with Hearts are Wild following in October and Baby and the Beast, her first book in the FEIRY TALES series, coming out in December. Although born and raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Laura has also lived in New York, Milwaukee and Columbus, Ohio. Currently, she is happy to have set down her bags and made Los Angeles her home. And a blissful home it is - one that she shares with her theatrical production manager husband, Daniel, three spoiled dogs and two of the largest turtles you've ever seen outside the Galapagos Islands. When people ask Laura what she does for recreation, she answers simply, "I write." And, strangely enough, when she's asked what she does for fun, the answer is the same: "I write." But on those few hours of downtime that she allows herself, Laura does enjoy going to the movies with her hubby, walking in the woods, lazing around lakes, puttering in the kitchen and frolicking with her animals. |
