Patricia used various pseudonyms for a half-dozen publishers since winning the Romance Writers of America Golden Heart for Best Young Adult Novel. Her sixty-plus published books include contemporary, historical and paranormal romances. Her first love is combining romance and danger, and she's best known as Patricia Rosemoor, writing bestselling romantic suspense novels for Harlequin Intrigue and erotic thrillers for the new Harlequin Blaze line.

She is the winner of the Romantic Times Career Achievement and Reviewer's Choice Awards; currently her HEART OF A LAWMAN is nominated for the Reviewer's Choice Award for Best Intrigue.

The author of the bestselling The McKenna Legacy series, Patricia has two more installments coming in Spring of 2002. Her next published book is SOMEONE TO PROTECT HER, the lead book in the Montana Confidential multi-author series. Also coming next Spring - her first Blaze. Patricia also writes screenplays.

The Last Dance, a psychological thriller, was a semi- finalist in the Motion Picture Academy's Nicholl Fellowship competition and was optioned by a Los Angeles production company.

Holding a master's degree in television production, she is adjunct faculty at Columbia College in Chicago and has taught for the Fiction Writing, Film/Video and the Continuing Education Departments. She's a member of Romance Writers of America, Novelists Inc., Sisters In Crime, Kiss of Death, Chicago Screenwriters Connection, Webgrrls and DigitalEve. She volunteers at Lincoln Park Zoo.
